August Nelson Jones (1840-1909). Never married, no descendants. He was a disabled veteran of the Civil War.
Christened as Nils August, he was the ninth child and a twin to Johanna, both born 29 October 1840 in Målilla soken, Kalmar län, Sweden.
Both he and Johanna emigrated to Jamestown, New York in 1853. Confirmation of this immigration has not yet been documented.
