5. Gustaf Jonsson Klang was born 13 Dec 1829 in Målilla, Kalmar län, Sweden. He died at age 22 in Hejdeby parish on Gotland (13 November 1852).
Very little information is known about Gustaf.
- Gustaf is listed as one of the 8 living children of Maja Lisa Nilsdotter in the bouppteckning report (similar to a probate inventory) filed 13 August 1849 after her death.
- Gustaf is listed as moving out of Målilla in 1850. His destination seems to be Gottland. The entry is written over another destination that was crossed out - this appears to be Gotheborg. Likewise, it appears that 49 was entered and then 50 written overtop this date. His exit pass is listed as No. 8, however, the volume containing this entry has been lost or destroyed. To date, no information has been found in Gotland indicating his arrival.
- Gustaf is not listed as one of the 7 living children of Maja Lisa Nilsdotter in the bouppteckning report filed 3 Mar 1856 after the death of Nils Lif.
- Gustaf is not listed among the 7 children who emigrated to the United States noted by Charles Jones in a brief 1887 biography.
11. Anders Peter (1843-1845) died at age 2.
12. Bernhard (1845-1846) died before he was 1 year old.
